Yoruba movie actress Omowunmi Ajiboye has dismissed claims that she was married to movie director and actor Segun Ogungbe.
This is coming barely two years after their messy split, which went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, Omowunmi was dragged by netizens for not acknowledging Segun Ogungbe’s presence at her mother’s burial ceremony.
Also, the chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, MC Oluomo present at the funeral sparked speculation of a romantic relationship with Omowunmi.
Reacting to the controversy, the actress, in a post on her Instagram page, denied dating MC Oluomo.
In her latest interview on Oyinmomo TV, Omowunmi disclosed that Ogungbe has not met with any of her family members before.
Omowunmi Ajiboye described Ogungbe simply as the father of her children and not her husband.

She also pleaded with the public to stop trolling her.
“Let me just set the record straight, Segun Ogungbe and I were never married or engaged. We just have kids.
“Segun Ogungbe has never met with any of my family members, except a friend of my sibling who lives in Lagos. Segun himself can confirm this.”
Famous Nigerian filmmaker and producer Kayode Peters has passed on at the age of 49.
He reportedly died in Canada on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Popular Nigerian filmmaker and the founder of Best Of Nollywood (BON Awards), Seun Oloketuyi, announced the sad news on his Facebook page.
He wrote,
“Bad news emerging from Canada indicates filmmaker Kayode Peters is dead.”
A statement by the family confirmed his sudden exit. The statement read that he battled a long-term illness and sadly gave up the fight this morning after an unsuccessful surgery.
