On Wednesday, British prosecutors confirmed that Andrew Tate and brother Tristan are facing 21 charges, including human trafficking and rape.
According to the BBC, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) declared that it had chosen to charge the brothers
following the receipt of a file containing evidence from Bedfordshire Police regarding accusations made against them, specifically in the United Kingdom.
Andrew, 38, is charged with ten offenses, according to CPS, including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for profit.
While Tristan, 36, on the other hand is accused of eleven crimes, including human trafficking, rape, and actual bodily harm.
The brothers, who are dual citizens of the United States and the United Kingdom, were detained in Romania in 2022 and charged with human trafficking there in 2024; Andrew was also accused of rape. The accusations have been refuted by both brothers.

After being detained in Romania since 2022, the Tate brothers obtained U.S. passports
and returned to the United States in late February. To appear in court, the brothers took a plane back to Romania in late March.
“After all we’ve been through, we truly deserve the day in court where it is stated that we’ve done nothing wrong and that we should have never been in court in the first place,” Tristan told reporters after landing in Romania.
“We should have never gone to jail. should have never had our assets seized. We should have never had our names slandered.”
The Tate brothers are former kickboxing champions who gained wider fame after joining the casts of reality TV shows.
Since 2012, the two have said they run a webcam business that features lingerie-clad models who chat with men online.
