Netizens have dragged ex-BBNaija housemate Kiddwaya for launching a donation campaign to support victims of violent attacks in Benue State.
Through his Kiddwaya Foundation, he aims to provide food, shelter, and essential support to those affected.
Kiddwaya, via a statement, had called on Nigerians to come together and contribute to the cause, emphasising that every donation, no matter how small, counts.
The statement reads,
“A Call to All Nigerians: Let’s Stand With Benue. From the Kiddwaya Foundation. Our brothers and sisters in Benue are suffering. Communities have been torn apart by violent attacks, leaving families displaced, hungry, and grieving. This is not just a Benue crisis, it’s a Nigerian crisis. And now more than ever, we need to come together as one people.
He encouraged people to donate, share information about the crisis, and get involved to bring hope to the affected communities.
“At the Kiddwaya Foundation, we are mobilising resources to provide food, shelter, and essential support to those affected. But we can’t do it alone; we need your help. Whether it’s #500 or #500,000, every naira counts. Whether it’s your platform, your voice, or your time, every effort matters. Donate, Share. Get involved. Let’s remind the world that Nigerians don’t abandon their own in times of need. Together, we can bring hope to Benue.”
This statement did not sit well with some Nigerians who believe the son of the billionaire is part of the problem.
