The burial of the former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has been moved from today, 14th, to Tuesday, 15th July 2025
This was disclosed by the state governor of Katsina, Dikko Umaru Rafa,
while fielding questions from Press men at the Umaru Musa Yaradua international airport, in Katsina
“The burial arrangement for our father, who died yesterday in London, we have made consultations with the family and people around him in London.
We have concluded that the body will arrive Katsina by noon and the burial will take place in Daura at about 2 pm” Governor Radda stated
He further expressed deep condolences to the family of the late president on behalf of the people and government of Katsina State,
describing Buhari as a father figure whose legacy of integrity and service will remain unmatched.

Security has also been beefed up in Daura and surrounding areas in preparation for the funeral,
with dignitaries from across the country expected to attend the final rites.

Meanwhile, social media aide to President Tinubu, Segun Dada, has lashed out at Nigerians celebrating the death of Buhari
Dada further cautioned that Nigerians who are celebrating the passing of the former president
should not forget that His people in the North and other part of the country who loved him are watching
while replying to an X user who wrote:
Every Insult you Dey tweet against the death of the President Buhari, North will remember. Continue.
Dada then wrote in response;
