Femi Adebayo Says He Earned 20k As A Lawyer Before Acting

Renowned actor and producer Femi Adebayo is remembering the moment he chose acting as his career over law because of better pay.

Adebayo, who earned his master’s degree in law at the University of Ibadan, said he was working as a lawyer, earning N20,000 monthly, while acting was just a hobby.

However, speaking with Pulse, he said that when he received an acting offer worth N50,000 for three days.

Femi Adebayo said, “Honestly speaking, that was when I started working as a lawyer.

 

My salary then was just N20,000 on a monthly basis And acting was a hobby for me all this while. So not until they invited me for acting roles, they were ready to pay me N50,000 for three days. And as a lawyer, I was getting N20,000 for one month. I said, Femi, this acting is your calling. That was when I decided that I would abandon law practice and face entertainment fully”.

Aisha Lawal has recounted how COVID-19 brought about a breakthrough in her business.

Lawal revealed that she made ₦10 million in just a week or two during that time.

In a recent interview with Biola Adebayo, Aisha also addressed rumors about receiving a Venza car from MC Oluomo, denying the claims and urging people to respect her name.

According to her, she drives a GX 460 and owns several shops, which she single-handedly achieved.

“One man, I wonder if it was set up or if he smoked weed, sat and set the camera in front of him and said MC Oluomo collected Venza from him and gave it to me. I have regard for MC Oluomo because he has done so well for people I know. I didn’t collect any car. Why will I die mysteriously when I didn’t eat mysteriously?

“I didn’t watch the video in detail, but then I heard the part where he said, “Aisha Lawal, I am the owner of the blue Venza with you.

“Common, put some respect on my name, I have suffered in the past, I didn’t even drive a Venza, I drive a GX 460, and my shop is like the 4/5th building”, she said.

Speaking of COVID she said: “Covid was the turning point in my life. I made N10m in a week or two”.

Aisha also shared insights into her past, recounting how she started driving at 16 and would often take night buses to save on hotel costs.
