“I Have Over 600 Unreleased Songs”-Kizz Daniel Brags on X

Nigerian singer Daniel Anidugbe, aka Kizz Daniel, has hinted at having over 600 unreleased songs.

The singer who is looking at an early retirement wants to release them before bowing out of the music scene.

The singer is teasing another EP, ‘Orange Chase,’ barely a week after releasing his latest EP, ‘Lemon Chase,’.

Shortly after he announced the lineup of guest artists on his upcoming EP, ‘Orange Chase’ on X, a fan wrote, “VADO wan finish us with over feeding ✌”

Responding, Kizz Daniel said,I have over 600 songs I want to dish out before I hang boot , so ‍♂️.”

In another post, the singer announced that he is taking a break from recording to focus on his family.

He wrote, “No more recording for me …. Just enjoying life like it should be …. My family don diss me say I choose studio over them, I’m changing.”

Kizz Daniel says his new EP, ‘Lemon Chase,’ isn’t business as usual and is different.

He stated that the seven-track project is more than just a teaser for his upcoming album, ‘Uncle K.’. He stressed that it’s a deeply personal body of work that captures his emotions.

The EP touches on love and loss to peace and a good time, which every listener can relate to.

The Flyboi boss shared that his goal in making the EP was to be honest and authentic to himself.

“When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade out of it. I wanted this project to feel like real life: sweet, sour, confusing, and beautiful. This is music for your heart, for when you’re healing, or hoping, or remembering. I just wanted it to be honest, authentic and true to self,” Kizz Daniel said.

The lead single, ‘Police,’ which features Mavin’s Johnny Drille and five-time Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo, has been tipped by many music buffs as a potential contender for the Best African Music Performance category at the next Grammy.
