Content Creator Ugo Eaglet Reveals Why He Came Back to Nigeria

According to content creator Peter Ugochukwu Okafor, better known by his stage name Ugo Eaglet, coming home from Europe was the best move he has ever made.

Eaglet revealed in an Instagram post that the excessive expense of living overseas, which includes outrageous rent, utilities, and health insurance, had become too much to bear.

Eaglet claims that, among other charges, his monthly expenses in Austria were €1,700 for rent, €240 for electricity, and €400 for health insurance.

“These expenses were just too much. I’m not discouraging anyone from travelling—you have to travel to understand. But when you travel and make it, come back to your home country. Instead of paying unnecessary bills there, come back and invest in Nigeria”, he said.

He noted that these expenses had become unsustainable, prompting him to return to Nigeria.

He also claimed that many men, especially those above 50 living overseas, secretly desire to return home but often struggle to convince their wives.

According to him, such conversations usually spark resistance and conflict in many marriages.

Eaglet praised his wife, Jenny Slimzy, for her support and understanding, saying she had been instrumental in his decision to return home.

“Anywhere you go, I will follow you. Honey, what are we even still doing here? I’m even bored here, let’s go back to our country,” she told him.

“I thank God for giving me a caring, loving and understanding wife. Jenny Slimzy is the best thing that ever happened to me,” he added.

Since returning to Nigeria, Eaglet said he has been able to live a more comfortable life, free from the financial burdens he faced abroad.

He is encouraging other Nigerians living in the diaspora to consider returning home and investing in their country.

“Coming back to Nigeria is the best decision I made this year. Now I sleep like a baby, no more unnecessary bills or expenses,” he added.

Veteran Nigerian comedian Ali Baba has stirred conversation online after sharing his views on polygamy,

saying the practice, when managed responsibly, can bring peace, balance, and stability to relationships and homes.

In a recent chat with media personality Nedu, Ali Baba explained that contrary to popular opinion, polygamy does not always breed conflict.

Instead, he argued, it can actually reduce the problems of infidelity and secrecy that often plague monogamous marriages.

According to him, being open about taking multiple wives is more honest than maintaining hidden relationships outside marriage.

“Some people feel if it’s only one wife, you may not be able to control her,” he said.

“But if a woman knows her husband has another wife, she tends to be more accommodating because she’s aware that others are involved.

Many men already have children outside wedlock, so rather than pretending, polygamy at least makes it structured and responsible.”

Ali Baba went on to recall how polygamy once served social purposes in traditional African settings.

He mentioned that in some communities, especially in Ibadan, women would even encourage their husbands to marry additional wives

particularly to provide care for widows or ensure that no woman or child was left unattended.

He believes that in those days, the system worked because it was based on mutual respect and clear responsibilities.

However, the comedian’s comments have reignited debate on the cultural and moral implications of polygamy in modern Nigeria.

While the practice is still recognised under Sharia law in the northern part of the country,

It remains largely unaccepted under civil law elsewhere.

Critics further argue that polygamy often places women at a disadvantage, fuels jealousy among co-wives, and stretches family resources thin.

Still, Ali Baba insists that the key issue is not whether polygamy itself is bad, but how it is practiced.

He believes that when built on honesty, fairness, and understanding, polygamy can actually help reduce deception and tension in relationships.

with many Nigerians debating whether polygamy can indeed bring peace

or simply revives a cultural system that no longer fits modern values.

Regardless, Ali Baba’s stance has opened up fresh discussions on marriage, morality,

and the balance between tradition and modern life in today’s society.

Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has called for the government to ban prank videos in the wake of a recent incident at Port Harcourt International Airport.

The video, which went viral, showed Portable in beige clothing trying to confront an unknown person in front of a group of bystanders and airport staff.

Blue-uniformed security officers are seen holding the singer in place as they drag him out of the scene and towards a waiting car in the airport parking lot.

The 53-second video shows frantic pushing and shoving as others assemble to witness the mayhem. One is seen walking barefoot, while another is brandishing what appears to be a belt or whip.

There have been several accounts that the incident happened on Sunday.

Portable broke his silence in a video response posted on his Instagram profile on Monday, saying he was attacked by “death pranksters,” who pull severe pranks involving fictitious deaths for online publicity.

Speaking in a mix of English and Yoruba, he said,

“Those people came to prank me. They were death pranksters. It almost turned to cultist level. 10 yellow no fit stand one blue,” referring to what appears to be a boast about his resilience.

He further alleged that the pranksters had spoiled his name through viral videos and asserted his trust in divine protection

Odumodublvck Shock Fans As He Features Both Davido And Wizkid In Album, “Industry Machine”

Published

on

Fans are buzzing with mixed reactions following the release of Industry Machine, the latest album from Nigerian music star Odumodublvck whose real name is  Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu.

The controversy stems from the album’s bold move, featuring both Davido and Wizkid on its tracklist.

For years, fans of the two Afrobeats heavyweights have been locked in a rivalry over who reigns supreme in the industry.

Their presence on the same project has now reignited that age-old debate, flooding social media with heated discussions and comparisons.

In Industry Machine, Odumodublvck pulls off what many thought was impossible: having both icons under the same album roof.

Davido appears on Track 5, “Grooving,” alongside Seun Kuti, while Wizkid graces Track 6, “Big Time.”

The moment the album hit streaming platforms, the internet went into a frenzy.

Some fans hailed Odumodublvck for bridging a long-standing divide in Afrobeats, calling it a historic moment for Nigerian music.

Others, however, couldn’t resist reviving the familiar “Davido vs Wizkid” argument, comparing lyrics, vibes, and overall impact.

One thing’s for sure, Odumodublvck has set the culture ablaze once again, and Industry Machine is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about projects of the year.

Odumodublvck Shock Fans As He Features Both Davido And Wizkid In Album, “Industry Machine”

Odumodublvck Shock Fans As He Features Both Davido And Wizkid In Album, “Industry Machine”

Industry Machine
Released on October 6, 2025, Industry Machine marks Odumodublvck’s fifth studio album and is already topping charts. The 23-track project blends rap, drill, and Afrobeats, showcasing his growth and creativity.

Highlight tracks include:
Big Time (featuring Wizkid) – currently topping the Apple Music Nigeria charts.

While Grooving (featuring Davido and Seun Kuti) – another fan favorite.

There is also Pay Me (featuring Stormzy and Zlatan).

And If You Like Gym (featuring Modenine).

The album’s production credits include top Nigerian producers like Telz and P.Priime,

while the cover art was designed by Slawn, a frequent collaborator.

Chart Success and Fan Reactions
Within hours of release, Industry Machine hit number one on the Apple Music Nigeria Top Albums chart. “Big Time”, Wizkid’s collaboration, climbed from number nine to the top of the Top Songs chart in less than a day.

The success of Big Time has been linked to both Wizkid’s global appeal and the renewed excitement over his rivalry with Davido.

Grooving, Davido’s collaboration, also performed well but did not reach the same early momentum as Big Time.

Meanwhile, recall that the fan division is tied to an old controversy. In 2024, Wizkid reportedly removed a planned collaboration with Odumodublvck from his Morayo album after a public disagreement. Following that fallout, Odumodublvck worked with Davido instead.

Now that Wizkid is featured on Industry Machine, some fans see it as a sign of reconciliation, while others accuse Odumodublvck of switching sides for business reasons.
