Skitmaker and musician Lawal Nasiru, aka Nasboi, has survived an auto crash while attempting to secure a collaboration for his upcoming song with Afrobeats superstar Davido.
Nasboi revealed that his vehicle collided with a parked trailer on Tuesday, 3rd June.
The entertainer embarked on an ambitious road trip about seven days ago, travelling across Nigeria’s 36 states in a bid to capture Davido’s attention and collaborate on a potential hit track.
Although the exact location of the accident was not disclosed, the incident has sparked widespread concern among fans and supporters, many of whom have taken to social media to express their relief and sympathy.
Shortly after the crash, Nasboi went live on social media to reassure his followers that he was safe and recovering.

In the live video, he was calm and stated that he did not blame the accident on his journey.
He said, “This could have happened in Lagos, too. I don’t even know how it happened; I’m just laughing.
“At this point, I think I need to give up. Thank God nobody was injured or killed. We are all good.”
Nasboi is on a 36-day kneeling tour across the country. He described the nationwide tour as a strategic plea to get a verse from Afrobeats star Davido after several failed attempts.
The tour commenced on Wednesday, May 28th.
The singer explained that he has been mimicking Davido for the last five years to get his attention for his music.

Announcing the development in an Instagram post, Nasboi shared a kick-off picture of himself holding a placard in front of the Osun State Government Secretariat.

On Thursday, he was seen on his knees at the Kano State government house.Captioning the post, he wrote,
“I will be kneeling across the 36 states for 36 days. I pray this dream comes to pass. Please just tag @davido every day when you see the post.”
Since signing to Eminent Music, the singer has churned out the hit singles ‘Umbrella’ featuring Wande Coal, ‘Small Money,’ and ‘Could This Be Love’ featuring Chike.
His debut project ‘INIT’ featured guest verses from 2Baba, Pheelz, Chike, and Falz. This captured his rise and acceptance by reputable colleagues.
The album contributed to his Next Rated nomination at the 17th Headies Awards.
