Every July 7th, members of the Neon black movement (NBM) also known as Black Axe con fraternity, celebrates the day which the group was created
So, Monday being July 7th, Davido took to his X account to celebrate the day
With a simple post he captioned “Happy Metal”
Which is a code to celebrating the origination of the Black Axe cult
Immediately Davido uploaded the post, an X user asked AI to translate what it meant

This information further sparked call out and bashing on the singer
As many believe He shouldn’t be the one promoting cultism
A particular fan, who says he’s a supporter of the singer, expressed disappointment, stating that Davido was “overdoing” and “actively encouraging and promoting cultism.”
“I love Davido and all that. But I’ll say it again, he’s always overdoing at times. Today he’s actively encouraging and promoting cultism. Smh. Omooo.”
He also called out other die-hard fans for constantly defending the singer, even when he does what he described as “nonsense.”
“As for una wey be real fan, make una continue dey defend some nonsense shey ee gbo.”
But Davido gave a quick and blunt reply:
“That one nah ur papa business.”

It is however glaring that Davido doesn’t really care what others think about him being part of a cult and openly celebrating it
But what does this mean for his die hard fans? Especially the young ones just coming up?
