Olamide Releases Self Titled Album And Its Giving!

Popular Nigerian and Grammy-Nominated rapper, Olamide, has finally dropped his eagerly awaited album of the same name.

The project, which was released on June 19, 2025, features 17 tracks and cameos from both international and Nigerian celebrities.

The album includes Afrobeats hitmakers Asake, Seyi Vibez, Young Jonn, BOJ, and Nigerian superstar Wizkid as guest artists.

Latino star Daecolm, American hip-hop legend Dr. DRE, Jamaican superstar Popcaan, and Afrobeats artists Darkoo and SPINALL are among the other artists on the album.

Olamide’s self-titled album will be his 11th solo project, and it captures his longevity and ability to constantly evolve and stay tuned to the pulse of the culture.

Ahead of the album, Olamide has released two singles, the latest being ’99’ with guest verses from Asake, Seyi Vibez, Young Jonn, and Daecolm.

’99’ comes after the release of ‘Kai’, featuring Wizkid, who appears on two songs on the album.

The song becomes the latest collaboration between the duo, whose partnership spans over a decade.

The album comes after his last project, ‘Ikigai,’ which means “a reason to live” in Japanese. The songs “Metaverse,” “Habibi,” and “Uptown Disco,” which featured Asake and Fireboy, were all part of the project.

Olamide has stayed at the top of the music industry for more than ten years, emerging as one of the greatest Nigerian musicians of the twenty-first century.

In addition to being a successful label owner, Olamide is a hitmaker whose YBNL imprint has produced well-known artists like Asake, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, and Lil Kesh.

Olamide is one of Nigeria’s most renowned hitmakers, and his latest album is just another addition to his extensive discography.
