Prosecutors Drop S*xual Charges, Kidnapping And Arson Charges Against P.Diddy!

In his ongoing criminal trial in New York City, federal prosecutors have dropped some of the charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs,

including aiding and abetting s3x trafficking, attempted kidnapping, and attempted arson.

A letter to Judge Arun Subramanian disclosed the development, which occurred just one day prior to closing arguments.

The decision, according to the prosecution, was made in accordance with the judge’s order to “streamline” the jury instructions.

The government seems to have had difficulty verifying allegations regarding the alleged abduction of singer Cassie,

who was allegedly held at the London Hotel, and former employee Capricorn Clark, who was allegedly taken to a building

and further put through a lie detector test because of missing jewelry,

even though Diddy is still facing numerous s3x trafficking charges.

Why Prosecutors Are Dropping These Charges Against P.Diddy

The prosecution has also dropped the attempted arson charge that Diddy planned the explosion of rapper Kid Cudi’s vehicle out of jealousy.

No concrete evidence connecting Diddy to the incident was shown during the trial.

These dropped allegations were all part of the broader racketeering case against the music mogul.

Prosecutors have also decided to eliminate certain elements,

such as aiding and abetting, from the S3x trafficking charges, but they are not completely dropping them.

Although the elements of the s3x trafficking counts that would not be taken into account by the jury was not made clear.

Furthermore, Prosecutors asked jurors to be told in the same letter that consent to sexual acts does not have to be agreed to in the future.

Additionally, they underlined that compensation does not preclude the possibility of forced labor,

which is a crucial element of laws against human trafficking.

The government also requested that jurors be informed that physical restraint or commercial s3x acts are not necessary to prove coercion in s3x trafficking.

In all, it’s looking like Diddy will be getting a lighter sentence

than what many thought would be handed to him
