Rapper CDQ Explains Why He Dumped Banking For Music

Popular Nigerian rapper CDQ has revealed what motivated him to quit his banking profession and pursue his passion for music.

He explained that he became a banker to fulfill his late father’s wish, but didn’t find fulfillment in the job.

Speaking in a recent interview with the Echo Room, the ‘Nowo Soke’ crooner stated that he decided to quit after he found himself writing lyrics during work hours instead of doing his job.

CDQ shared that his friend, music producer Masterkraft, who was accommodating and borrowing him suits to wear to the bank was shocked when he told him he has quit his job to focus on music.
