Victor Osimhen Rejects Impressive Deal From Galatasaray

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has reportedly turned down a bid from Galatasaray, a Turkish team

willing to activate his €75 million release clause and pay a generous salary package.

Osimhen’s decision, which was originally announced by Gazzetta dello Sport

and subsequently published by other European publications, indicates that he is still focused on a possible transfer to the English Premier League,

where he is rumoured to have had long-held playing aspirations.

“There is no agreement between his desires and reality,” the Gazzetta report noted,

referencing Osimhen’s preference for the Premier League over other options currently available to him.

Meanwhile, recall that the 26-year-old forward recently completed a high-scoring loan spell at Galatasaray,

netting 37 goals across competitions.

The People’s Person claims that although Osimhen’s annual wage demand of €12 million is still a significant obstacle, the Premier League team still views him as a serious transfer target.

Despite their failure to qualify for European events next season, United may still be interested in Osimhen, according to reports from Corriere del Mezzogiorno.

Al-Hilal, a Saudi Pro League team, has also reportedly made a contract offer for €40 million annually.

Il Napolista claims that Osimhen has not yet agreed, with insiders saying he is still intent on obtaining a transfer to England.

A key component of any possible trade is still Napoli’s €75 million release clause, which is in effect until July 15.
