He made this known in a recent post on X while debunking rumours circulating online about his health.

It all started when a netizen asserted that the singer had a medical procedure while responding to a question by another fan online.

The X user went on to suggest that the transplant will mitigate the effects of sickle cell anaemia on the father of one.

Responding to a tweet, the fan wrote, “Yes, he has, but since he’s had a bone marrow transplant, I don’t think it affects him that much anymore.”

Reacting to the innuendos, Adekunle
Gold denied undergoing a “bone marrow transplant”, stating that the claims are baseless.

He said, “It is how you people will just say things you don’t even know with so much confidence. No, I haven’t had a bone marrow transplant.”

Adekunle Gold had earlier revealed that he is battling sickle cell anaemia in his 2022 song, ‘5 Star’.
